Shoulder Pain?

Having shoulder pain? A common cause of shoulder pain is rotator cuff tendonopathy (aka rotator cuff tendonitis). It can limit strength, motion, and keep you from doing things overhead to reaching behind your back to put on a belt. Physical therapy can help!
A review of multiple large scale studies published in the journal “Shoulder and Elbow” in 2013 revealed multimodal physical therapy was your best bet over other treatments such as corticosteroid injections, laser treatments, and even surgery.
“…the reviews consistently supported the effectiveness of multimodal physiotherapy in the medium and longer-term, in terms of statistical significance, compared to no treatment or placebo but, in the short-term, the evidence suggests no significant difference. Surgical intervention does not offer additional benefit over multimodal physiotherapy.”
