What does the BREAKTHRU culture mean to you?
To me, the BREAKTHRU culture means to break thru (pun intended) your limitations. It’s easy to lean into what is comfortable and familiar. The growth happens when you step out of your comfort zone and continuously choose to challenge yourself to push through when things feel uncomfortable and hard.
You CAN do you hard things and you are more capable than you think.
The BREAKTHRU team is here to help you break thru those barriers!
Credentials:
Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy (De La Salle Health Sciences Institute, 2017)
NASM Certified Personal Trainer
Currently pursuing NASM Stretch and Flexibility Certification and NCI Level 1 Nutrition Certification
Favorite Exercise?
I love bench presses for upper body and RDLs for lower body!
Least Favorite Exercise?
Burpees.
Why do you exercise?
I exercise as a way to prioritize my health and wellbeing. It is one of the many aspects that keeps me on the path to becoming the best version of myself, which then carries over to becoming the best partner for my significant other and the best mom for my kids.
What do you do when you are not helping people get in the best shape of their lives?
Getting myself in shape, spending time with my family, and hanging out at coffee shops!
Who do you look up to and why?
I look up to a couple of different women, who are also mothers, in my life that show incredible devotion, confidence, and strength in everything they pursue. Being a mother of two young kids myself, I understand how difficult it can be to juggle so much and take care of everyone else before taking care of yourself. Seeing how much they juggle on a daily basis and still being able to make time for self care is something I respect and fiercely advocate for all mothers!

If you were a superhero who would it be and why?
Invisible Woman from Fantastic Four. Can you imagine the pranks I could pull??

I would love to venture more into coaching others in their fitness journeys!
