I first found physical therapy when I had a knee injury during high school football. It was amazing to see how quickly I was able to get back on the field with just a few sessions and the experience I had has stuck with me forever. I knew that I always wanted a career where I could make a positive impact on people and being able to do that every day that I come to work is what drives me.

Getting people back to doing what they love and seeing how much that means to my patients is the most rewarding part of this job. My favorite part is problem solving exactly what interventions a patient needs and catering the exercises to the patient’s specific goals. Every patient and injury is different, so I make sure that each session is salient and personalized.

Hi all! I broke my arm in Sept and what a horrible experience it was plus the pain I was in! I started therapy with Dan and he was amazing considering how scared I was of the unknown and his words I was very guarded! He worked with me with such patience...and he also pushed me at times which I needed! He was very Knowledgeable and helped me with home exercises...4 months later we were both happy with my progress! Been to other physical therapist's and this place is different. There is keen focus and care for your well being. That patient centric approach comes from every member of the team there. I was fortunate enough to work with Dan as my therapist. Throughout my care, he listened intently, paid close attention to how I moved, made adjustments accordingly and educated me on the why behind what he was asking of me. I am grateful that breakthru therapy was part of my healing journey.

Been dealing with these guys since they were Rehab Excellence from back in 2002, 2010, 2013-142017, and now, again, 2025. They are now Break Thru Therapy, but the old staff, esp Dan in Pensauken office, is still here!These guys know what they are doing, and, as you can see, Every time I need PT, I have only become back to them!

I’ve been to physical therapy a few times in my life, but I have to say this was by far my most memorable experience. The entire staff that I’ve met was over the top excellent. The support roles of Amanda, Cheryl and Henry were very professional. My therapist Dan, I can’t rave about enough. His skill, knowledge and commitment are over the top exemplary. He is extremely pleasant and very knowledgeable. He answers questions in laymen’s terms and really allows a person to understand every aspect of their recovery. I would like to thank him for a great experience. I will recommend breakthrough physical therapy to anyone who needs it.

This is the best place to come and get physical therapy. Dan is my therapist and he is amazing! I always leave with tons of improvement. Dan goes above and beyond to make sure I get the care that is needed. Amanda is also an amazing person she always has a beautiful smile while greeting you we always have tons of meaningful conversations and she just brightens up my day. I almost hated to get better! I loved my time at Breakthru so much, I was sad to graduate. The small staff meant I consistently saw the same incredibly talented, kind, fun, supportive people every time I went. Natalie and Dan helped me so much, kept me smiling all through my exercises (even when it was hard!), and made me feel completely comfortable in their facility. Amanda, Chrissy, and Henry are the most fantastic support staff, really going above and beyond to help get the job done. Everyone was consistently flexible, and never made me feel inconvenient or like I was making life difficult, even the couple times I had to cancel or reschedule.I've already recommended Breakthru to several family members and friends, and I absolutely recommend them to you, too. The facility is well maintained, with enough equipment to get the job done. They're not overwhelmed with clients - I never had to wait more than few minutes for a piece of equipment, and any wait at all was extremely rare. When you're hurting and feeling vulnerable, and you want people with knowledge and creative solutions who genuinely care about you, who know how to walk the line between pushing you and taking care not to make things worse... These are the people you want.
