Matt Carpenter PT, DPT
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Bio
My first introduction to physical therapy came as the kid who found a way to get injured during every sport and activity imaginable. My experience as a patient and the atmosphere inspired my young mind and started me on the path to becoming a PT. My love for physical therapy comes from seeing the results from hard work a patient puts in. From the athlete, the weekend warrior to those transitioning from the sedentary lifestyle to the active one; they’re all rewarding. The whole process of physical therapy is like a Jedi master guiding his padawan through the journey of getting a person back to what they love to do without being limited by their body or their mind. Getting a person on the right path, guiding them to success and empowering a person to reach their goals is the joy of being a physical therapist.
Everyday is a chance to be better than you were yesterday and that is a mentality I bring to being a PT. I’ve had the wonderful experience of being a PT student at both the Medford and Mount Laurel Breakthru locations and have had three clinical experiences in the orthopedic fields.
