Bio
Nicole Barton graduated from Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, receiving her B.S. in Biology and doctorate in Physical Therapy. During college, she played soccer and became injured. Nicole tore her PCL, LCL, and meniscus that required surgical repair and physical therapy. This experience pushed her to pursue her doctorate in PT.
Nicole joined Twin Boro Physical Therapy in 2021 as a Physical Therapist and Clinical Director of our Manahawkin clinic. She specializes in the treatment of orthopedic populations like knee injuries, postsurgical and athletes of all ages.
She has completed several CE courses, including instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) treatment for myofascial dysfunction. Nicole has also attended Great Lakes Seminars on the lumbar spine, sacroiliac joint, SFMA, and kinesiotape. She is also a certified APTA Clinical Education Instructor.
When treating patients or managing other therapists, Nicole implements Twin Boro’s One2Four™ Care Model and research-driven techniques to determine a unique treatment plan for each patient. She is committed to maintaining a motivating and positive environment for patients to reach their goals and regain their previous level of function.

Being active, spending time with her family, and travelling to the beach and Disney
