Update 2025: Ran my first ever marathon thanks to Jake helping with some glute strength imbalances this fall! Feels awesome to have a PT I can trust.I ran my first half marathon yesterday! After achilles tendinitis caused me to miss the Rocky Run in November, I worked with Jake over the winter. He took baseline measurements of my ankle mobility and thanks to our sessions a few times a week and doing my homework, my final measurements were markedly better. I continue to do two of my exercises daily. From the front desk to the doctors, Breakthru Marlton is relaxed, friendly, and eager to get to know you. My experiences working with Jake and Kennedy were great. I have gone to other physical therapists in the past, and I felt very at home and supported here and am grateful to know where to go in the future. They are also LGBT friendly.

I have struggled with plantar fasciitis for years. I would experience debilitating arch pain in my feet on backpacking trips - literally felt like my feet went through a meat grinder. My foot doctor got me custom insoles but didn’t feel any improvement. Finally decided to try PT and my doctor recommended Break Thru. I worked with Kennedy for about 12 weeks. Seems long, but I just ran a marathon (26 miles) this past weekend, and had absolutely zero foot pain!!!! Highly recommend working with Kennedy.

I worked with Jake for my shoulder and I couldn’t be happier. My biggest fear going there was that I wasn’t going to be able to express how I was feeling and therefor, wouldn’t get the appropriate treatment. That was not the case. Jake jumped in and asked questions and made sure he had a full understanding of my issue. We talked about my goals after PT and he tailored a plan to that. The workouts challenged me and got me to where I want to be. I am so happy I took action on my pain and even happier that I chose Breakthru.

After 5 months of painful plantar fasciitis (heel pain) & no relief from a cortisone injection; I walked into Breakthru Marlton as my last hope. Well, best decision ever. I am so grateful for my Physical Therapist, Kennedy L. She listened to me and guided me to do the correct exercises for me both onsite and at home. My surgeon recommended Breakthru Physical Therapy after repairing my severely damaged left shoulder. Dr. Kennedy at Breakthru’s Marlton location worked with me for months to strengthen my left shoulder and bicep. In a word, Kennedy was awesome. She understood the extent of damage that had been repaired and the slow rehabilitation process that was required to activate and strengthen the muscles in order to return a full range of motion to my left arm,Along the way, Dr. Kennedy was extremely kind, caring, supportive, and encouraging. She explained every exercise and its intended result, while demonstrating proper technique. It was also fun, I looked forward to each session. After having a total shoulder / rotor cuff repair back in July I didn’t think I’d ever get back to normal. I was in bad shape. After discussing with my Dr the best path forward and visiting several Physical Therapy centers I decided on Breakthrough in Marlton. Kennedy was my physical therapist. At first it was a slow start. I had pain couldn’t see the end was ready to quit. Kennedy wouldn’t let me quit (trust the process) She was amazing, her brilliance, coaching, patient demeanor and PT techniques got me back on track. I started seeing progress and was feeling better. My Doctor was amazed. I can’t thank Kennedy and team enough for making their exceptional performance seem routine getting my shoulder back on track. My PT Kennedy did an amazing job with me! I went in for back spasms, which I didn't think were treatable and she quickly and effectively got me into a routine that stopped the spasms. I was only there for a short time since the routine was so effective. In addition, she was just really sweet to talk to! I'd recommend this facility to anyone, and Kennedy specifically :)

I went to breakthrough physical therapy for about 5 months. They were friendly welcoming and worked with my schedule. Dr. Fahringer was great. I’m not the easiest patient to treat because I’m impatient and wanted to return to high intensity exercise as quickly as possible. Dr. Fahringer promised me if I followed his programming, I would be back to working out soon, but I had to be patient. I’m now back running and working out with little to no pain and feeling great! Appointments were easy to schedule and the office manager was very accommodating.
